Return & Refund Policy
CHANGE OF MIND RETURNS
Changed your mind? No problem. We'll happily accept returns on full-price items for a refund or store credit, provided the following conditions are met:
• Return is requested within 7 days of delivery and the item arrives back with us within 14 days of delivery
• Item is unused and in original, saleable condition with all original packaging intact
• Protective film (where applicable) has not been removed or tampered with
• Items must be returned in a rigid cardboard box; soft satchels are not accepted as they may cause damage in transit
The following are not eligiblefor change of mind returns:
• Sale or discounted items
• Gift cards (final sale — no returns or refunds)
• Orders paid with a gift card are eligible for store credit only
Before sending anything back, please reach out via our Contact Page to receive approval. Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
• A $9.00 handling fee will be deducted from your refund
• If your order qualified for free shipping, a $15.00 shipping recovery fee will also be deducted from your refund should the remaining order amount be less than our free shipping threshold
• Return postage is at the customer's expense
PROCESSING TIME
Once your return is received at our end, please allow up to 7 business days for processing (excluding weekends and public holidays). You'll receive a confirmation email once it's done.
UNDELIVERED / RETURNED TO SENDER ORDERS
If your order is returned to us by the carrier due to a failed delivery, it will be processed in line with our change of mind returns policy. Additional return freight fees charged by the courier will also be deducted from your refund:
• Standard Post — $13.50
• Express Post — $19.50
These fees are set by the carrier and are outside our control. We're unable to reship a returned parcel, but you're welcome to place a new order at any time. If you've noticed an error in your delivery address, contact the carrier directly with your tracking number to request a redirect.
FAULTY OR DAMAGED ITEMS
We stand behind the quality of our products. If you believe your item is faulty or arrived damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order details and photos. Where a defect is confirmed, we'll arrange a replacement or full refund to your original payment method.
Please note: concerns about scuffs, scratches, or surface damage must be raised before the product is installed or used. Faults resulting from fair wear and tear, misuse, incorrect installation, or incompatible surfaces will not be assessed as defects. Hold onto the item until your claim is resolved — we're unable to assess claims for items that have been discarded.
GENERAL TERMS
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Orders cannot be cancelled once confirmed — if you'd like to return an item, please follow the change of mind process above. One Sunny Sunday is not liable for returns lost in transit; we strongly recommend using trackable postage. Items returned showing signs of use, damage, or tampered packaging may be declined at our discretion — in which case, return shipping back to you will be at your cost if you wish to have the item returned.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
